Ceramic Coating?

Ceramic coating is a liquid polymer that chemically bonds to your vehicle’s factory paintwork, creating a semi-permanent protective layer that standard waxes and sealants simply can’t match.

The application process

Wash & Decontaminate

A thorough two-bucket wash followed by clay bar decontamination removes all bonded surface contaminants before coating begins.

Paint Correction

Any swirl marks, scratches or imperfections are removed first. Ceramic coating locks in the finish, so the paint must be perfect underneath.

Coating Application

The ceramic product is applied panel by panel by hand, then carefully levelled and allowed to flash, a precise process that requires expertise and patience.

Cure & Inspect

The coating is allowed to cure fully and every panel is inspected under lighting to ensure a flawless, even finish before we hand the keys back.

The application process

How long does ceramic coating last?
Depending on the package chosen, a professionally applied ceramic coating lasts between 1 and 5 years. Longevity is affected by how the car is washed and maintained, we’ll give you full aftercare guidance on the day.
 
In most cases, yes. Ceramic coating locks in whatever is underneath, so any swirl marks or scratches need to be corrected before application. We’ll assess your paintwork and advise the best approach when we quote.
 
A full ceramic coating typically takes a full day, sometimes two for larger vehicles or those requiring significant paint correction. We’ll confirm the timescale when we book you in.
 
We recommend avoiding washing the vehicle for at least 7 days after application to allow the coating to fully cure. After that, a pH-neutral shampoo and a gentle two-bucket wash method will keep it in perfect condition.
